How do I know if these are bed bugs or not? Get bites all over my arms & Legs?

So everytime I would sleep at my boyfriends house I would get bites all over my legs & arms and feet, we thought they were bed bugs then we stopped sleeping in his bedroom because something happened to the bed and the bites stopped but once and a while I would get a few, but this weekend I got at least 30 on my arms and a couple on my legs. I get all these bites but I am the only one in the house that gets them , but I know they aren't from my house because the nights I would sleep at my own hosue are the only nights I wouldn't get new bites. Also lthis morning i woke up and saw a redish brownish beetle looking bug crawling on the blanket which I had seen before on his bed (Just one though) does this sound like bedbugs?? Why aM I the only one getting the bites
