PhD Spanish program at University of Miami? Difficult to get into?

I am currently looking at PhD programs for Spanish literature. One of my options is the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, because it is very close to my family--something very important for me. I was wondering if the Spanish graduate program at the University of Miami difficiult to get into? I'm not worried about prestige. What I want is a school in Florida (I don't want to leave my homestate...), and one near my home.
