Private student loan?

i already have financial aid and federal student loan from sallie mae. they give me total $3,500 for this fall 07 and spring 08. but i need more money to pay my car. can i use student loan for that? where can i get private student loan? do they track where the money goes? will it affect my financial aid and federal loan for next year?
