What does my surname mean?

My last name is "Tanskanen" and I do believe that it is Danish... well, Scandinavian. (I grew up in an orphange, so my parents couldn't tell me). Does anyone know what it could mean? My Gramma (not blood-related) said that she was sure it meant, "One of"- Denmark, perhaps, but I'm not too sure. My father was Finnish.
