Disturbing Landlord, showing up for no reason!?

Talk to him about it. Explain that you do not appreciate him bothering you for no reason, the rent is paid, so unless there is an issue, you would like him to leave you alone. Some people need something to do, but just let him know that you are not the one to go kill time with.
