How can I change my dad?

My dad is mindlessly spending money, he really pissed me (and my mother) off. He got rich, and now he's spending money on new expensive cars, 2 HDTVs - and he's not using them, car is in the garage all the time, he's still watching movies on old SD TV. I think he should buy something useful for everyone, but he's selfish. Can I fix it somehow? I don't know if it's possible...
