Inquiries getting rid of roaches in apt.?

Moved into apartment and it has roaches in it. I am a very clean person, wiped and disenfected everything down after I got the apt, I sprayed entire apt with home defense mixed with termite killer and seems it didn't work because I still have them. Told the leasing office and they sent someone in to spray and roaches are still there. I wiped everything and sprayed home defense w/ termite killer again and still having problems. I've thought about boric acid and home defense mixed, i've heard about bombing and combat gel. Do anyone know a for sure method of getting rid of them beside moving.
