Re instating a fireplace?

What do I need to do? Recently removed the old gas fire which is sealed off under floor by pro. I have tested the drag/extraction with tape and smoke, all good there, lintle in place. There are bare stones behind the cast iron fireplace I bought is this ok and are quarry tiles ok under the hearth/burning bit? Am I missing anything?
